Terms of Service

Legal

Last updated: July 2026

By using EduCalcDb, you agree to these terms. They're written to be readable, not to trip you up — the short version is: the tools are free, they're study aids, and you should double-check anything that really matters against an official source.

Using the Site

You may use our calculators for personal study and planning at no cost. Please don't attempt to disrupt the site, misuse it, or copy it wholesale to pass off as your own service. The tools run in your browser, so you're free to use them as often as you like.

Estimates, Not Official Results

This is the important part. EduCalcDb provides estimates to help you plan. AP composite cutoffs change by exam year and are not officially published, grading curves differ by instructor, and GPA scales vary by school. Our AP score tools use editable thresholds precisely because there is no single official answer. Results should not be treated as an official grade, score, or transcript. When accuracy matters, confirm with the College Board, your instructor, or your school's registrar.

No Warranty

The site is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. While we work to keep the math correct and the tools reliable, we can't guarantee that every result, feature, or page will be error-free or available at all times.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EduCalcDb is not liable for any academic, financial, or other outcome that results from relying on a calculator's output. You are responsible for verifying results before acting on them.

Intellectual Property

The EduCalcDb name, design, and original tools are ours. You're welcome to link to any page and to use the calculators for your own study.

Changes

We may update these terms as the site evolves; the "last updated" date reflects the current version.
