Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

EduCalcDb is built to be private by default. Our calculators do their work in your browser, so the scores, grades, and course details you type are used to show you a result and are not sent to, or stored on, our servers. This page explains what that means in practice.

Information You Enter

The numbers you put into a tool — like the inputs on an AP score calculator or a GPA calculator — are processed locally on your device. They are not transmitted to us, we cannot see them, and they are cleared when you close or refresh the page.

Information We Collect Automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider may record standard, non-identifying request data (such as browser type, general device information, and pages visited) to keep the site running and secure. We may also use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics to understand which calculators are useful. This information is not used to identify you personally.

Cookies and Local Storage

EduCalcDb does not require advertising or tracking cookies to function. We use your browser's local storage to remember small preferences, such as whether you chose light or dark mode, so the site looks the way you left it. For a full breakdown, see our Cookie Policy.

Third Parties

We do not sell your information. Any third-party services we rely on (for example, website hosting or aggregate analytics) are used only to operate and improve the site, and are expected to handle data responsibly.

Children's Privacy

EduCalcDb is a general-audience educational tool. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and because calculations stay on your device, using the tools does not create an account or a profile.

Changes to This Policy

As the site grows we may update this policy, and the "last updated" date above will always reflect the current version. Significant changes will be described in plain language.
